Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?

Dr. Samona says that the first thing most people notice when meeting someone new is their eyes, but for him, it’s always their smile. Growing up, he saw that some people were self-conscious about their teeth and would hide them, and he wanted to help them regain their confidence. He also was always drawn to science, art, engineering, and working with his hands, and dentistry allows him to combine everything he loves into a single pursuit.

He also went to one of the best Advanced Education in General Dentistry programs in the country at UT Health San Antonio and received training for IV sedation, cosmetic dentistry, implant placement and restoration, full mouth reconstruction, gum surgery, and Invisalign.
